Our region’s parks and natural areas mean the world to us.

The green spaces we’ve protected and connected to across the Portland metro region are essential to our quality of life, and what makes this such a special place. It’s the reason why people want to live here, businesses want to grow here, and why our economy remains strong.

By voting YES on Measure 25-225 by November 8th, voters in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties will have the opportunity once again to protect our clean water, restore fish and wildlife habitat, and connect people with nature across over 18,000 acres of parks, trails and natural areas in the greater Portland area without raising the current tax rate.

How will Measure 26-225 impact the current tax rate?

Over the years, the region’s voters have stepped up for our parks and natural spaces and approved bonds and levies to establish and maintain a regional parks system and protect habitats. Measure 26-225 renews the existing Parks and Nature Levy, and will maintain the existing tax rate of 9.6 cents per $1,000 of assessed value. That’s $24 per year for a home assessed at $250,000.
